- Education:
College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years - Experience:
1 year to less than 2 years Tasks - Develop and conduct production, inventory and quality assurance programs
- Inspect processes
- Oversee production
- Set machine or equipment controls
- Design plant layouts and production facilities
- Conduct work measurement or other studies
- Conduct safety training programs
- Collect and compile operational or experimental data
- Collect and analyze data and samples
- Develop manufacturing and processing procedures
- Monitor production and troubleshoot production problems Computer and technology knowledge
- Data analysis software
- Database software
- Computer-aided design (CAD)
- Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Area of specialization
- Development of quality assurance programs
- Work planning, estimating, measuring and scheduling
