Lead Hand in Production

Step into a full-time lead hand role with our manufacturing client in Vaughan, ON. This position requires strong supervisory skills and a mechanical aptitude to manage production effectively.

We seek an experienced Production Team Lead to coordinate the activities of over ten workers in a plastic extrusion environment. You will utilize your knowledge of tools, methods, and safety practices to instruct and train employees effectively. Communication skills and ERP experience are key components of this role to ensure productivity and safety at the workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate production activities of 10+ workers

• Read and interpret complex technical drawings

• Oversee ASME parts coordination and scheduling

• Maintain safety standards and conduct regular meetings

• Write and document processes clearly and effectively

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in a supervisory role in manufacturing

• Strong mechanical and organizational skills

• Experience with plastic extrusion processes

• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems

• High School Diploma; relevant technical degree preferred
