In this full-time, day-shift position, you will oversee a team of 4-5 machinists while also engaging in programming and machining tasks. Your expertise in Mastercam and multi-axis machining setups is crucial for success. This role focuses on exceeding quality standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead a small team in a custom job shop setting
• Schedule and prioritize machining jobs daily
• Program parts from scratch, utilizing Mastercam and Hypermill
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced CNC machining centres
• Ensure quality standards are met with tight tolerances
Requirements:
• Several years in CNC machining, preferably in a custom environment
• Previous supervisory or lead hand experience
• Excellent Mastercam programming skills
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
• Hands-on leadership approach to mentorship
