WOODBRIDGE $20-$25 Depending on Experience MORNING SHIFT
We are looking for an experienced Print Shop Cutter Operator to join our clients production team. The ideal candidate has experience operating industrial paper cutters in a commercial print environment and understands the importance of accuracy, quality, and production deadlines.
Responsibilities- Operate industrial paper cutters to accurately trim printed materials to specifications
- Review job tickets, work orders, and cutting instructions
- Set up and program cutter jobs according to job specifications
- Verify finished sizes, bleeds, and trim marks before and during production
- Maintain accurate and consistent cutting throughout production runs
- Perform quality checks and identify any issues before work moves to the next stage
- Organize and prepare finished work for additional finishing or shipping
- Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of cutting equipment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area
Work efficiently to meet daily production schedules and deadlines - Assist with other bindery and finishing duties as required
- Previous experience operating a commercial/industrial paper cutter in a print shop
- Strong attention to detail and excellent measuring skills
- Ability to read and understand job tickets and production specifications
- Experience working with digital and/or offset printed materials
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to lift and move paper and finished print materials
- Previous experience with Polar cutters is an asset #AES3#
