Hands-On Production Manager for Pangeo

Lead the Production department at Pangeo's state-of-the-art aluminum die casting plant in Vaughan, Ontario. As a Production Manager, ensure compliance with safety, quality, cost, and delivery metrics.

This role provides full accountability for production performance, requiring a proactive leader who excels in fostering team collaboration and continuous improvement. You'll implement lean practices and build a robust production system to achieve key metrics and support scale-up efforts. A focus on safety and quality is essential across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct production operations while prioritizing safety and quality

• Advance lean production technologies for cost efficiency

• Implement 5S and workplace organization standards

• Encourage multi-skilled workforce with cross-training

• Manage environmental safety compliance initiatives

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive management experience in production

• Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline

• Proven experience in applying lean manufacturing practices

• Strong understanding of IATF 16949 quality standards

• Competence in Microsoft 365 and English;
Mandarin advantageous
