Daily tasks and responsibilities
- Performs visual inspections of products and informs production line clerk of products failing inspection, with a focus on quality and detail.
- Cleans equipment daily in accordance with Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure (SSOP) standards.
- Keeps the line clean and free of debris at all times to ensure safety.
- Responsible for practising and adhering to food safety, good manufacturing practices (GMP) and health and safety procedures.
- Transfers products from one line area to another.
- Assists in other areas of the department as needed.
- Assists in other areas of the Commissary as necessary.
Education/Training:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Permits/
Licenses/Certifications:
Costco Food Safety Certification – Level 1 required upon hire.
Experience:
None.
Knowledge/
Skills:
Organizational skills and an eye for detail is an asset.
