Key Responsibilities- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, including vital signs and specific pediatric monitoring (e.g., seizures, suctioning, oxygen saturation).
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to create, implement, and update individualized care plans.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families.
- Educate caregivers on pediatric care, disease management, and safe home practices.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and hygienic environment for patients.

- Professional Requirements
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Chest X-ray or Negative Mantoux/TB Test (within the past 2 years).
- Vulnerable Sector Police Records Check (within the past 6 months).
- Experience
- Community nursing experience and pediatric care considered an asset.
- Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care is an asset.
- Skills in diabetes management, G-tube care, colostomy care, and PIECES or GPA training are preferred.
- Other Requirements
- Reliable transportation with valid Ontario Driver’s License and insurance.
- Availability to work weekends and holidays.
