Compassionate Practical Nurse

Position: Compassionate Practical Nurse at Sienna Senior Living
Support the health and happiness of seniors at Sienna Senior Living, Woodbridge, as a Registered Practical Nurse. Build strong relationships while providing dedicated nursing care.

As a Registered Practical Nurse reporting to the Director of Care, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional care tailored to each resident's needs. This role emphasizes teamwork and quality communication, helping to maintain a welcoming environment for both residents and staff. You will have the opportunity to guide support workers while actively engaging with families to enhance resident care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care in alignment with physician orders and care plans

• Uphold nursing and personal care excellence

• Foster effective communication within the team

• Supervise Personal Support Workers and monitor resident care

• Conduct ongoing assessments for admissions and status changes

Requirements:

• Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with Ontario College

• Preference for experience in geriatrics or senior health

• Strong judgment and ability to promote a positive work culture

• Legally eligible to work in Canada

• Pass necessary background checks
