As an RPN at Age Care, you'll provide essential nursing services, implement care practices, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal resident support. You'll also educate Personal Support Workers, ensuring they operate within nursing standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement specified procedures within the nursing unit
• Communicate vital changes to healthcare team members
• Collaborate with physicians and assess resident needs
• Guide and support care staff on daily duties
• Ensure comprehensive shift reports are communicated
Requirements:
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Understanding of nursing regulations and health acts
• Current membership with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Commitment to enhancing residents' quality of life
