In this role, you will follow the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario to provide comprehensive and empathetic patient care. Daily tasks include assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and advocating for patients' needs, all within a framework of continuous improvement. Your skills in teamwork and communication will underpin your contributions to patient and family-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and report changes in patient conditions
• Administer medications and document care processes
• Provide advocacy for patients' needs
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure culturally competent care for diverse patient populations
Requirements:
• Current General Class RPN registration with Ontario College
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Minimum 1 year recent nursing experience in acute care
• Proven ability to deliver patient-focused care
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving capabilities
