Position: Resident Care Manager at AgeCare

As the Resident Care Manager, you will report to the Director of Care and be responsible for overseeing Resident Care Services in a long-term care setting. This leadership role requires at least five years of clinical nursing experience and a proven track record in management and interpersonal skills. Your commitment to person-centered care will foster a welcoming atmosphere for residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit and select qualified nursing staff

• Provide feedback to enhance care performance

• Conduct staff performance evaluations

• Manage resident move-in processes per policy

• Oversee scheduling of Care Conferences

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of clinical nursing experience

• 5 years in a leadership role with excellent management skills

• Proven experience with dementia care

• Knowledge of provincial regulations and standards

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
