A growing manufacturing organization is looking for a Health, Safety & Wellness (HSW) Specialist to lead safety initiatives across its facility and project sites. About the Role

You’ll be the driving force behind the company’s safety culture—supporting the Joint Health & Safety Committee, strengthening the Health & Safety Management system, and ensuring employees and contractors work safely every day. This role blends hands‑on site work, technical compliance, training, and strategic influence.

• Lead Job Safety Analysis (JSA), risk assessments, and hazard evaluations
• Conduct shop and job‑site inspections to verify controls and compliance
• Oversee legislated equipment inspections and subcontractor safety performance
• Participate in design reviews to identify and eliminate risks early
  
  Lead incident investigations and root‑cause analysis
• Deliver safety and wellness training across the organization
• Promote a proactive, collaborative “Safety First” culture

• Education in Occupational Health & Safety or a related technical field
• 3–5 years of HSE experience in manufacturing, construction, or heavy industry
• Strong knowledge of OH&S legislation
• Ability to influence and communicate across all levels
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (approx. 20%)
• CRSP or NCSO designation is an asset
• Opportunity to work on high‑profile ICI mechanical projects

Salary: $90,000–$100,000 + benefits + RSP matching
