Quality Assurance

Responsibilities

• Position Functions Test Planning and Design:
  Collaborate with the development team to understand the requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Manual Testing:
  Conduct thorough manual testing of software applications (UI/UX) to identify defects and ensure compliance with requirements.
• Conduct basic API validation using tools such as Postman.
• Bug Tracking and Reporting:
  Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools, and communicate findings to the development team for resolution.
• Regression Testing:
  Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect existing functionality.
• Compliance Testing:
  Ensure that software products comply with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and expectations.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the evolution of the QA process.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum of 3 years of experience in a QA Analyst role or similar position.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in testing methodologies, automated testing tools (e.g. Playwright, NBomber), and bug tracking systems (e.g. Test Rail, Zephyr, Azure, You Track).
• Analytical
  
  Skills:
  
  Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to think critically and identify root causes of issues.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills (French is a bonus), with the ability to clearly articulate technical issues to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Detail‑Oriented:
  High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work.
• Team Player:
  Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Adaptability:
  Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and experience working in agile development environments.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript,
  
  C) for automated testing.
