Position: Quality Engineer for Manufacturing
Elevate quality standards as a Quality Engineer in Vaughan, ON, focusing on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. This on-site, 1-year contract role ensures effective management of the Quality Management System.

In this pivotal position at a major North American manufacturing organization, you will own the local quality assurance strategy and act as the 'voice of the customer.' You'll manage customer claims, lead internal audits, and liaise with certification bodies.

Your role will impact operational excellence and drive quality culture across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement local quality assurance strategy

• Manage customer claims and Return Merchandise Authorizations

• Authorize quarantine of non-conforming parts

• Interface with external certification bodies for compliance

• Enhance culture and training for quality awareness

Requirements:

• 3-5 years in a global supply chain or quality role

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

• Understanding of quality assurance tools and frameworks

• Proficiency in ERP systems like BC365

• Strong communication skills in English
