Anatolia Tile & Stone  is a leading importer and distributor of ceramic and stone tile and is a major supplier to some of the largest distributors throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Toronto, Anatolia Tile & Stone is a privately owned 100% Canadian corporation that is growing rapidly. Currently we are looking for eager, motivated Material Handlers to join our expanding team as we open our new facility within Savannah, Georgia.

Title:

QA Inspector

Hours:

Day Shift

What you’ll do:

Inspecting inbound materials for quality control, documenting and reporting any deficiencies, issues or deviations

Sorting product for specific quality defects, ensuring quality control protocols are adhered to
Repacking, strapping and re-skidding tile/stone as necessary

Performing other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

High school diploma or equivalent required

At least 6 to 12 months experience in a similar capacity from within a similarly related industry is required.

Demonstrated accountability for quality, accuracy and adherence to work instructions with some discretion required when exercising duties within pre-determined limits and procedures

Demonstrated ability to follow established standards and procedures with limited creative thinking and problem solving.

Ability to work independently as well as in contact with peers or direct supervisor within work unit and is related to job duties involving the exchange of routine information.

Flexible and able to work overtime hours as required, and must be able to get to this location reliably and consistently.

Comfortable or proficient using standard quality protocols and various other software/systems for effective and efficient quality assurance transactions.

Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly throughout an 8 hour shift.
