Magna Powertrain is seeking a dedicated student currently enrolled in a degree program related to Occupational Health & Safety or Environmental Science. You will provide administrative support to the HSE Department and engage in safety policy implementation. The ideal candidate is proficient in Microsoft Office and possesses strong organizational skills to manage various responsibilities effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with inspections and documentation for safety compliance

• Develop and update health and safety training materials

• Support safety audits for ISO standards

• Coordinate contractor safety and compliance activities

• Facilitate safety quizzes and employee engagement sessions

Requirements:

• Enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of relevant degree program

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings preferred

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to manage a heavy workload and deadlines

• Basic knowledge of OHSA and EPA regulations
