Coordinator of Environmental Health and Safety

This role supports the Environmental, Health & Safety Team, promoting safety culture while ensuring adherence to Ontario’s health and safety standards. Candidates should possess a strong background in heavy civil construction, with at least five years of relevant experience. Your expertise will play a critical role in developing and improving safety programs throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site audits and inspections for compliance

• Work with teams to address workplace hazards proactively

• Maintain inspection reports and safety documentation

• Provide health and safety training sessions

• Assist in managing WSIB claims and return-to-work

Requirements:

• Minimum of five years in the construction industry

• Degree or diploma in health and safety preferred

• Familiarity with health and safety regulations

• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor Certification is a plus

• Valid Ontario Class G Driver's License is essential
