We are seeking a
results-focused, innovative, and customer-centric Quality Technician / Jr. QC Inspector
to join our team. Based out of our
Vaughan location, you will ensure SCCi meet all customer, regulatory, and compliance requirements through rigorous inspection, documentation, and continuous improvement activities.
- Product Inspection & Compliance
Conduct inspections in accordance with
IPC-61/830
,
ISO
9001
, MIL-STD-810 and
NASA-STD-8739.1standards. Verify that all customer product requirements are met. - Nonconformance Identification & Root Cause Analysis
Investigate quality issues, identify nonconforming conditions, collaborate with production personnel to determine root causes, and support corrective actions. - Quality Incident Reporting
Document all inspection findings through daily quality reports and maintain the nonconformance log with accuracy and timeliness. - Nonconforming Product Processing
Tag, record, and process nonconforming materials (repair, scrap, or other disposition) within five business days. - 6S Workplace Organization
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Support daily 6S practices and end-of-day workstation setup. - Continuous Improvement
Work with Operations and customers to identify improvement opportunities. Stay current with industry trends, quality literature, and training resources. - RMA Prioritization & Rework Oversight
Allocate rework tasks, ensure reworked items are inspected by a separate individual, and verify all rework passes through Quality Control with proper documentation. - First Article Inspection (FAI)Generate, log, and submit FAI reports under the direction of the Quality Manager to validate product conformity.
- Operator Training & Support
Train and advise machine operators on best practices to reduce quality errors and improve process consistency.
- Education:High School diploma required;
Technical School diploma an asset. - Experience – minimum:
- 1+ years in electronic assembly
- 1+ years in Quality Management Systems preferred (IPC-A-610, NASA-STD-8739.1, ISO
9001)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
