Position: Quality Technician - (Day, Night and Weekend Shift Options)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct process and product audits to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform product inspections, testing, and validation activities.
  • Support manufacturing operations by identifying quality concerns and assisting in the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and support audit preparation activities.
  • Coordinate and track corrective and preventive actions to ensure timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Analyze quality data, identify trends, and prepare reports to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and control Quality Management System (QMS) documentation, including procedures, work instructions, quality alerts, and records.
  • Assist with root cause investigations and the development of effective, sustainable solutions.
  • Provide technical and quality support to internal departments and customers as required.
  • Maintain quality communication tools, visual management boards, and related metrics.
  • Support the training and education of employees on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Track, communicate, and follow up on quality-related issues throughout the production process.
  • Perform internal calibrations and coordinate external calibration services for measuring and testing equipment.
  • Participate in production and cross-functional team meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

As a Quality Technician
, you will play a key role in ensuring products and processes meet company, customer, and regulatory quality standards.

Responsibilities include:

Qualifications
  • 2-3 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment operating under recognized quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, TS).
  • Experience with quality and continuous improvement tools, including Lean Manufacturing, 5S, 8D, SPC, PPAP, and FMEA.
  • Internal Auditor certification is considered an asset.
  • Experience using precision measuring and inspection equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related tools.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
  • Post-secondary education in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Compensation: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
