Shift Schedule
: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday-Friday

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Safe Launch Quality Inspector to ensure that products meet

established quality standards and specifications during the Safe Launch phase of new products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform 100% inspection of designated parts according to the Safe Launch Control Plan.
  • Use gauges, fixtures, and visual aids to verify product compliance.
  • Inspect laser weld quality and product appearance for scratches, burrs, lamination, and forming cracks.
  • Measure critical dimensions using calipers, point micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring instruments.
  • Review GD&T drawings and blueprints to ensure dimensional accuracy.
  • Segregate, identify, and document non-conforming parts.
  • Complete inspection check sheets accurately and in real time.
  • Maintain full traceability of inspected parts.
  • Report defects and non-conformances immediately to Quality and Production Supervisors.
  • Identify recurring issues, communicate quality trends, and suggest improvements to inspection methods or work instructions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in an advanced manufacturing or metal
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use inspection and measurement tools.
  • Working knowledge of GD&T drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
  • Good communication skills and ability to report quality concerns clearly.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions consistently.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive production environment.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and balancing.
  • Repetitive inspection tasks requiring close attention to detail.
  • Frequent use of hand, eye, and finger coordination.
  • Compliance with workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices, and applicable OHSA requirements.
