In this role, you'll act as a key Archaeologist Permit Holder with over ten years of consulting experience, ensuring that all archaeological work meets regulatory and quality standards. You'll be responsible for planning and executing various archaeological assessments while maintaining strong relationships with Indigenous groups and regulatory bodies, fostering a collaborative atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct training and guidance for junior archaeologists
• Oversee project management aspects including budget and scope
• Conduct archaeological assessments and evaluations
• Interpret archaeological data for mitigative strategies
• Collaborate with local Indigenous communities
Requirements:
• B.A. or
B.Sc. in Archaeology or Anthropology required
• Ten years' consulting experience and leadership skills
• Familiarity with GIS or digital data platforms
• Capacity to hold necessary permits across jurisdictions
• Commitment to safety standards and practices
