Position: Licensed Optician ON-LensCrafters
Job Overview  Crafters Position:
Casual Part-Time – Lens Crafters (Essilor Luxottica subsidiary).
Responsibilities   Welcome all customers and set expectations.
Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
Act as a leader in optical acumen.
Take and record measurements; accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail.
Ensure finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
Assist the team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
Use technology accurately and efficiently under time pressure and customer volume.
Maintain strong product knowledge and use appropriate tools.
Be proactive, explore root causes of issues, be forward‑thinking, and ensure customer satisfaction and expectations are exceeded.
Show solution‑driven attitude.
Multitask, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
Take pride in store appearance; help keep the store clean, attractive, and organized.
Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and seek continual learning, improvement, and results.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.
Basic Qualifications   High school graduate or equivalent.
State licensure for optical dispensing.
Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
Knowledge of current store merchandise.
Strong basic math skills.
Awareness of current fashion trends.
Sales skills.
Ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
Embrace recent technology and change.

Preferred Qualifications   Previous customer service and retail experience.
Pay & Benefits  Pay Range:  per hour.
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements.
