Position: Bakery Category Manager at Longo’s
Lead the Bakery category at Longo’s as a Category Manager, focusing on strategy and vendor relationships. Drive growth by monitoring industry trends and executing marketing strategies.

The Category Manager will report to the Director of Deli, Bakery, & Prepared Foods. This strategic role requires expertise in purchasing, inventory management, and managing vendor relationships. The successful candidate will promote execution of sales plans and manage P&L efficiently across multiple stores.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop strategic planning for assigned Bakery categories

• Manage vendor performance and resolution of issues

• Collaborate with marketing for promotional activities

• Oversee P&L and gross margin management

• Conduct market intelligence for continuous category improvement

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years in purchasing and inventory management

• Experience in food retail and vendor relationship management

• University degree in Business

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong analytical and negotiation skills
