About the Role:
We’re offering an exceptional opportunity for a results-driven Commercial Account Executive to join a high-performing, growth-focused brokerage. You’ll be backed by an experienced support team, competitive compensation, and the autonomy to build and manage your own profitable book of business. In return, we’re looking for someone with a proven ability to generate quality commercial clients, develop strong relationships, and represent our brokerage with professionalism and integrity in the marketplace.
This is more than a sales role; it's an opportunity to build a profitable book of business that you help shape and own. What You’ll Be Responsible For:
Proactively generate new commercial business through outbound calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits Build and manage a strong prospect pipeline, targeting profitable, quality accounts Provide strategic insights and updates on growth plans in collaboration with senior leadership Support and mentor the commercial account team handling your book Track and report on personal performance against sales goals and KPIs Stay informed of market trends, carrier appetites, and underwriting changes Represent our brokerage at industry events, networking functions, and in the community
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance or business-to-business sales RIBO license required (or ability to obtain) Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets Strong understanding of risk management and commercial insurance products Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative selling skills Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office and broker management systems (EPIC preferred) Post-secondary education preferred
