At Fair Ways, we are seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker for our residential family centre in Southampton. You will facilitate family assessments and guide parents through their 12-week stay, ensuring safety and effective support. Your trauma-informed approach and exceptional communication skills will be crucial in fostering a nurturing environment for families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support families in achieving positive parenting outcomes

• Conduct high-quality parenting assessments with colleagues

• Model trauma-informed responses using therapeutic support

• Uphold professional boundaries while observing family dynamics

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for family well-being

Requirements:

• Experience in child or family service preferred

• Full driving license and access to a car

• Enhanced Disclosure (DBS) required

• Commitment to safeguarding vulnerable individuals

• Ability to work flexible hours across a rolling rota
