JOB SUMMARY:
The Family Counsellor / Social Worker is responsible for providing culturally safe, trauma-informed counselling services to children, youth, and families. The role focuses on strengthening family relationships, improving communication, supporting healthy parenting practices, and promoting wellness and resilience through therapeutic family centered interventions. The Family Counsellor develops and implements a family-focused social work framework within the Child and Youth Health Services team, supporting individuals and families in their wellness journeys.
Wage:
Minimum $70,400/year – Full Time Contract to Mar 31, 2028
