Position: CMHA York Region Intake Specialist Role
Become a vital part of CMHA York Region as a Mental Health Intake Specialist. This role entails conducting assessments and triaging for effective client support.

As a part-time specialist based in Vaughan, you’ll engage with clients needing mental health care, especially those facing mild to moderate levels of anxiety and depression. You must demonstrate proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to thrive in this position, delivering quality assessments and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial Clinical Intake and Triage Assessments

• Triage clients to appropriate mental health services

• Deliver interim support aligned with clinical best practices

• Follow Ontario Structured Psychotherapy program guidelines

• Ensure accurate records and client documentation

Requirements:

• Fluency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin

• Registered Social Worker with a related qualification

• Good standing as a Full Member of OCSWSSW

• Two years of mental health experience required

• Experience conducting psychiatric intake assessments preferred
