Join Blue Door as a Case Manager, providing essential support for individuals accessing emergency housing services. This full-time role involves skill development and community integration.
Reporting to the Program Manager, this position at Vaughan Inn focuses on guiding clients towards stable housing by providing essential support services. You'll empower individuals through goal planning, help them navigate available resources, and enhance their independent living skills. Collaboration with other housing programs is key for effective service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct life skills training sessions for clients
• Facilitate community resource navigation
• Carry out regular client check-ins and goal planning
• Support clients with career planning and job searches
• Maintain detailed reports and record-keeping
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Knowledge of Landlord Tenant Act
• Valid vehicle and insurance for client transportation
