Senior Machine Learning Engineer Position

Waymo, an innovator in self-driving technology, is on the lookout for a talented engineer in its Learned Metrics team. The role combines your expertise in building production ML models with collaboration across multiple teams to refine the Waymo Driver. You will contribute to the infrastructure necessary for effectively training and evaluating autonomous vehicles in real-world scenarios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead development of ML models for vehicle behavior

• Create infrastructure to optimize model performance

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to realize state-of-the-art ML solutions

Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science, Physics, or similar discipline

• Over 5 years of experience with production ML models

• Design skills in Python or C++

• Experience in Deep Learning applications

• History of improving machine learning model outcomes
