Hands-On AI Engineering Manager

Lead hands-on Python and React engineering for ContentIQ , based at the Greater Toronto Area headquarters with hybrid office work.
As Engineering Manager, you will guide development, quality, delivery, and operations for an enterprise AI knowledge and retrieval platform. Build RAG pipelines, document ingestion, APIs, enterprise integrations, and AI agent capabilities. Partner with the VP of Engineering on architecture, priorities, and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead ContentIQ development, delivery, operations, and production readiness
Write production Python and React applications alongside engineers
Develop RAG pipelines, retrieval, ingestion, and agent integrations
Review code, mentor engineers, and remove technical blockers
Support deployments and resolve customer production issues
Requirements:
Five to ten years of professional software engineering experience
Strong hands-on Python and React development skills
Experience leading engineers, projects, priorities, and delivery
Practical AI/ML experience and modern LLM architecture understanding
Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
Shape dependable enterprise AI through hands-on coding, engineering leadership, RAG development, and customer-focused production support.
