Job Description

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all inbound shipments from the US. You will review invoices from customers and freight brokers to ensure accuracy and handle any disputes related to shipment clearances. Additionally, you will manage tariffs codes listed on invoices and oversee outbound shipments, addressing any related inquiries.

Responsibilities

• Handle all inbound shipments from the US.
• Review invoices from customers and freight brokers for accuracy.
• Manage disputes related to shipment clearances.
• Review and manage tariffs codes listed on invoices.
• Handle outbound shipments and address related questions.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of logistics/warehousing experience within the aerospace or aviation industry.
• Education related to supply chain or aviation management.
• Experience with aviation repair parts.
• Experience with cross-border logistics.
• Familiarity with Export Control Classification Numbers, Brokerage, Ocean export, and Data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• CCS certification or completion of portions of CCS.
• Aviation compliance certifications are a plus.
• Experience with Can-UK shipments is a plus.

Work Environment

This onsite position is located at the warehouse in Vaughan. Candidates will primarily work in the warehouse, reviewing shipments as they come in and out. Comfort with working on the floor and communicating with warehouse staff is essential.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vaughan, ON.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
