Job Summary
The Driver is responsible for safe and timely pickup and delivery of vehicles within Canada and the US. Duties include vehicle inspections; loading and offloading car carrier; timely and accurate completion of daily logs, fuel, mileage and run sheets, while providing exceptional customer service at all times.

Duties & Responsibilities
Load and unload cars, trucks and vans as required.
Responsible for pickups and deliveries through the designated locations (local, inter-provincial and US).
Prepare condition reports and verify orders for accuracy, ensure the client has signed all electronic applications or necessary documents.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer.
Report to Dispatch on a daily basis for loads and instructions, maintain regular communication with Dispatch to ensure that customer needs are met.
Maintain an electronic log and other applications associated with the position.
Follow all Hours of Service regulations.
Follow all speed and traffic regulations.
Report damages to cargo and truck immediately to the Manager/Supervisor.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Adhere to established policies and procedures.
Knowledge & Skills
Clear driver abstract
Experience with using Tandem axle auto hauler tractor with sleeper and Cottrell trailer
Proper loading, load securement and weight distribution techniques
Proper tie down techniques to prevent injuries and accidents
Good communication and client relationship skills
Work Experience – Minimum Required
1 year of experience

High School/GED or equivalent

Salary & Benefits
Base salary is one component of our total rewards package which also includes incentive opportunities, benefits, and professional development. Salary ranges are established by location and reflect relevant factors such as skills, experience, and market conditions. The good-faith salary range for this position is CAD 24.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on these factors and may vary accordingly.
