Step into the role of Sort Manager at Fed Ex Ground, where you’ll oversee sorting operations while promoting a culture of safety and compliance. This temporary 4-month position is critical for operational success.
As a Sort Manager, you will be responsible for all sorting activities within a Fed Ex Ground facility. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree, four years of relevant business experience, and preferably, two years in the logistics field. Familiarity with MS Office and the physical ability to lift heavy items are vital components of the job.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and supervise sort operations efficiently
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures
• Facilitate staff training and operational compliance
• Communicate effectively with all operational teams
• Analyze performance metrics and improve operations
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential
• At least four years of business experience required
• Experience in transportation or logistics is a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Current membership in Fed Ex management or endorsed status required
