Boom Truck Drive - Delivery Truck Driver (DZ – Boom Operator)

Dass Metal Products is currently seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Truck Driver (DZ – Boom Operator) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering materials to construction job sites while operating a boom truck safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, customer service, and compliance with transportation regulations.

• Complete daily circle checks and vehicle inspection reports.
• Maintain company vehicles, including general maintenance, greasing of boom/Moffat equipment, and keeping cabs clean.
• Verify loads and delivery paperwork, ensuring proper loading, tarping, and securing of materials.
• Complete all required daily MTO documentation.
• Perform secure and timely deliveries and material pickups.
• Participate in loading and unloading materials using a boom truck or through manual handling as required.
• Direct and coordinate work activities with any assigned helper on-site.
• Provide professional and courteous service to customers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Report damaged or missing materials, equipment, or safety concerns.
• Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Comply with all transportation regulations and traffic laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class D Driver’s Licence with Z (Air Brake) Endorsement.
• Valid Boom/Crane Operator Certificate (0–8 Ton).
• Clean Driver’s Abstract and good CVOR record.
• Minimum 2 years of boom/crane operating experience, preferably within the construction industry.
• Robust understanding of safe loading, unloading, and transportation practices.
• Dependable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with co-workers, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.

• Boom/Crane Operation:
  Minimum 2 years.
