Job Requirements
Order Processing
Review work order, including special instructions
Obtain approval for release from accounts receivable as applicable
Prepare packing slip and/or bill of lading and other appropriate shipping documentation
Conduct final inspection (tag and segregate nonconforming product as appropriate)
Scan completed shipments
Preparation of Material/Product
Retrieve product from storage location
Retrieve accessories, hardware and/or components as appropriate
Packaging
Package / load product as required
Replace/correct damaged packaging
Lift Truck Operation and Inspection
Lift truck certification
Operation of lift truck as required
Perform pre-shift lift truck inspection
Record results
Load/Unload Inspection
Ensure truck is properly docked/chocked
Load/unload transport trucks as required
Ensure shipment is properly secured
Record results
Maintain component, accessory and hardware inventory
Advise appropriate department when stock is required
Skills and Abilities
Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English.
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilograms.
