Join UNFI as a Delivery Driver, providing essential services in Downtown Toronto. Successful candidates will utilize their driving skills and customer service abilities to ensure prompt product deliveries.
This role with UNFI involves safely operating vehicles while managing delivery tasks in a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for inspecting vehicles, delivering products, and maintaining documentation throughout your shifts. Previous experience with tailgating and reefers is necessary for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections for safety
• Deliver products using specified equipment
• Maintain accurate delivery records including signatures
• Report accidents or vehicle issues immediately
• Address customer inquiries as needed
Requirements:
• DZ Driver's License required for driving role
• 6 months - 1 year of driving experience necessary
• Background in hand bombing required
• Knowledge of transportation laws essential
• Must have a clear driver’s abstract
