Day - Monday through Friday 4:30 PM - 1:30 AM Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
JOB DUTIES
Responsible for supervision of 5+ Associates – Forklift operators and shunters
Prepare PO’s and paperwork for Administration
Load and unload trucks for client's overnight needs
Supervise and assist in staging freight as needed
Manage dock areas and trailer line ups for loading
Loading 35 trailers (+/
- 5)
Team of 10
Strip 50 (+/
- 5) trailers and straight trucks
Coordinate 60 shunts
Manage 50 dock doors
Process 100 emails/day
Host weekly meetings
Door checks every 45 mins
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years previous supervisory experience
Must have experience in a high-volume, fast-paced LTL/crossdock operations
Valid counterbalance Forklift license and experience
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong leadership and analytical skills
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
MS Office proficiency necessary;
Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
