Location:
Janes and Langstaff area
Day - Monday through Friday 4:30 PM - 1:30 AM Monday through Friday
Pay Rate: $30.00 per hour
JOB DUTIES- Responsible for supervision of 5+ Associates – Forklift operators and shunters
- Prepare PO’s and paperwork for Administration
- Load and unload trucks for client's overnight needs
- Supervise and assist in staging freight as needed
- Manage dock areas and trailer line ups for loading
- Loading 35 trailers (+/
- 5) - Team of 10
- Strip 50 (+/
- 5) trailers and straight trucks - Coordinate 60 shunts
- Manage 50 dock doors
- Process 100 emails/day
- Host weekly meetings
- Door checks every 45 mins
- 3-5 years previous supervisory experience
- Must have experience in a high-volume, fast-paced LTL/crossdock operations
- Valid counterbalance Forklift license and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong leadership and analytical skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks
- MS Office proficiency necessary;
Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. - Shiptrack
