We are currently seeking experienced AZ Drivers to join a leading steel solutions company with a long-standing reputation for quality, safety, and customer service. Drivers will be responsible for local and regional deliveries throughout Ontario with no overnight travel required.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate AZ tractor-trailers safely and efficiently
- Transport structural and reinforcing steel to customer locations throughout Ontario
- Secure, tarp, and inspect loads to ensure safe transportation
- Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections
- Monitor vehicle performance and report maintenance concerns
- Maintain accurate driver logs and transportation documentation
- Follow all transportation, safety, and company policies
- Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
- Valid AZ Driver's License
- MUST be able to drive manual/automatic
- Valid Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
- Strong understanding of safe driving practices
- Ability to complete required transportation documentation
- Clean driving record and ability to pass all pre-employment requirements
- Previous flatbed trailer experience
- Experience hauling structural or reinforcing steel
- Experience working within an industrial environment
- Machine operation experience
- Ability to secure and tarp loads
- Ability to climb on trailers and equipment safely
- Frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and walking
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections and safety checks
- Competitive pay at $31.00 per hour
