As a Shunt Truck Driver / Route Planner, you will operate a shunt truck and manage the safe movement of trailers within the facility yard. Your responsibilities will include optimizing delivery routes, maintaining yard organization, and supporting on-time customer delivery. Safety and compliance are essential aspects of this position to ensure operational effectiveness and adherence to regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate a shunt truck safely in the yard
• Coordinate transportation routes and schedules
• Monitor yard inventory and equipment locations
• Maintain accurate transportation records
• Promote safety practices within the yard
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in yard operations or transportation preferred
• Valid driver's license; AZ/Class 1 license is an asset
• Knowledge of transportation regulations and routing practices
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
