Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload trucks while ensuring products handled with care.
- Move, stack, and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and stage orders accurately for shipment.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for damages and discrepancies.
- Verify products against shipping and receiving documentation.
- Perform inventory checks, cycle counts, and assist with stock replenishment.
- Complete daily forklift inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory transactions.
- Perform manual material handling and heavy lifting as required (up to 50 lbs).
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow all company policies, warehouse procedures, and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as assigned.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Valid forklift certification (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Order Picker, or other relevant licenses).
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management systems are considered an asset.
- Legally eligible to work full-time in Canada.
Selected candidates must submit the following documentation at least one day prior to their start date to confirm eligibility and readiness to work.
Valid photo (Driver's licence or passport), Social Insurance Number (permanent or temporary), copy of a valid work permit, or proof that an application to extend the current work permit has been submitted and the individual is on maintained/implied status.
Access to required PPE, including CSA-approved steel-toe safety boots, high-visibility safety vest, and any other protective equipment required to perform job duties safely.
