Warehouse Associate

Job Overview

Priority Wire and Cable is currently in need of self‑starters who can quickly contribute and complement our warehouse team. These positions offer overtime, fantastic benefits, and the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally.

2nd shift: 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM

• Work at a fast pace and be flexible to work overtime hours.
• Must be flexible to work multiple shift hours.
• Operate cutting equipment to process wire and cable orders for shipping.
• Use technology such as RF scanners, iPads, and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders for shipping.
• Assist customers with local will‑call orders.
• Build, wrap, sort and transport reels, pallets, and packages.
• Handle shipping and receiving truck deliveries.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance for an in‑person role.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work, whether public transportation or a personal vehicle.

• Lift up to 80 lbs.
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
• Use sit‑down forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move product within the facility.
• Be detail-oriented and able to multi‑task with attention to detail.

• Safety – all employees receive proper PPE and monthly safety meetings are held.
• Surroundings – working around moving machines such as order pickers, forklifts, and heavy reels.
• Activities – standing, cutting wire, pushing heavy reels, and working in a dirty environment.
• Temperature – non‑climate controlled warehouse; temperatures can exceed 90 °F on hot days.
• Noise – can be noisy; hearing protective gear is available if needed.
• Dress code – relaxed with safety footwear (ASTM F2413) required; an annual voucher up to $125 is provided for safety footwear, and company shirts after 90 days.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Previous wire & cable experience is a plus.
