Abbott Medical is currently looking for a new Territory Manager vascular to cover North/west Netherlands.

About Abbott’s Vascular Division

Abbott’ vascular division develops advanced technologies in the field of interventional cardiology. The portfolio includes Core Coro products (stents, Guidewires, Dilatation, etc) and PCIO products as OCT and Fysiology (HW and disposables) supporting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality cardiac care.

Job Description

In this sales position, you will be responsible for servicing the current customer base, increasing sales within that base, and establishing new accounts. You will also be responsible for effectively dealing with customer complaints and recommending consignment in accounts where necessary.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Achieve sales quota per plan by servicing the current customer base, increasing the sales volume to that base, and establishing new accounts.
  • Implement comprehensive sales plans to ensure increased market penetration and establishment of new accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a good understanding of Abbott therapies and products.
  • Assist technical procedures as per planning requirements in close cooperation with the Clinical team
  • Prepare reports and perform required administrative sales duties (e.g., expense reports, scheduling, travel planning).
  • Maintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies regarding pricing, quotes, credit terms, and quality guidelines.
  • Follow and share best practices before and after sales calls.
  • Develop knowledge of competitor products.
  • Proactively plan weekly travel schedule and communicate through appropriate channels.
  • Apply the company Account Profiling system to gather key account insights.
Education & Competencies
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of successful sales experience in the medical device industry.
  • Basic understanding of Abbott product lines and business dynamics.
  • Well-organized and accustomed to tight deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Customer- and results-oriented, self-starter.
  • Languages:

    Dutch, English; additional language is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
