As a Warehouse Worker at DPD Veenendaal, your main focus will be on the manual handling of parcels:

• Manual Loading/Unloading:
  In cooperation with your team, you will manually load and unload all DPD containers. This is an excellent way to train your muscles—no gym required!
• Parcel Control:
  You will control the shipment of packages to ensure they reach the correct recipients.
• Physically Demandting:
  This is physically very hard work. You should be prepared for a constant, high level of physical activity.

The base salary + additional allowances for evening and night work (after 8:00 PM (20:00): +30% and after midnight (00:00): +45%. Additionally, overtime hours are paid 115% above the normal rate. Employees also get a 8% holiday allowance, and are able to work from 34 to 45 hours per week.

The shifts are as follows:

• Afternoon shift: 14:00 - 22:30
• Between shift: 19:00-03:30 or 20:00-04:30
• Night shift: 21:30-06:00 or 22:30-07:00

This role offers long‑term job placements with DPD and the chance to join Dutch language classes after 8 weeks of working.

• Experience:
  
  Previous experience as a Warehouse Worker is mandatory.
• Physical Condition:
  Must be physically fit for demanding work.
• VOG
  
  Required:
  
  A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required after 3 months of working.
• Flexibility:
  Must be flexible to work different shift schedules, including nights.
