ASAP - Long-Term Position

A refined restaurant in the historic town of Veere is looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join its professional kitchen team. Known for its elegant atmosphere, seasonal cuisine, and commitment to quality, the restaurant offers guests a memorable dining experience built around fresh ingredients, modern culinary techniques, and exceptional presentation.

This role is ideal for a motivated chef who enjoys both hands-on cooking and kitchen leadership. As Sous Chef, you will support daily kitchen operations, manage a small team, and help maintain the high culinary standards that define the restaurant’s reputation.

• Prepare and present dishes according to restaurant standards
• Lead and supervise a kitchen team of 4 staff members
• Maintain HACCP and food safety standards
• Manage inventory and stock control
• Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation
• Organize kitchen operations efficiently during service
• Work independently while motivating and supporting the team
• Contribute to a positive and professional kitchen environment

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Senior Chef de Partie or Sous Chef
• Good command of English (minimum B2 level)
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Availability for a long-term position (12+ months)
