Mental Health Therapist (Licensed/Unlicensed) – Venice, FL

Elite DNA Behavioral Health is actively hiring for mental health therapists (licensed/unlicensed). We are a physician-run telepsychiatry and mental health provider serving children, adolescents, and adults. We offer a collaborative, flexible work culture with structured administrative support and a best-in-class patient management system.

• Develop and implement clinical procedures and guidelines as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and case presentations.
• Supervise Care Coordinators during initial intakes.
• Provide supervision and consultation to staff and student interns, as appropriate.
• Deliver patient-centered therapy interventions with patient involvement as part of the treatment team.
• Document in the electronic medical record, including screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress notes, and referrals, within required timelines.
• Advocate for patients to access community resources.
• Collaboratively develop treatment plans with input from patients, families, the treatment team, and other agencies as appropriate.
• Coordinate communication with the treatment team to ensure quality care.
• Utilize group, individual, and family therapy to help patients achieve goals.
• Demonstrate sensitivity to diversity in assessment and treatment.
• Respect the dignity and worth of patients.
• Monitor patient progress toward goals and handle termination/discharge, with outside referrals as needed.
• Work independently and in a team; prioritize workload based on workflow demands.

• Education:
  
  Master’s degree.
• Licensure:
  Active LCSW license by the State of Florida (or eligible for supervision for licensure for unlicensed therapists).
