The Person al Care Attendant is reliable and confident in taking full personal care of client in a facility or their own residence. Duties may include mobility support, assisting with maintaining personal hygiene by bathing, brushing their hair and teeth, or applying skincare. He/she is a vital piece of great in‑home care and serves a double duty as emotional and physical support for both clients and their families.

• Must be qualified in one of the following programs:
  Certified Nurse’s Aide Program or Home Health Aide Program or must have completed a 54‑hour training program as a PCA provider
• Completion of the facility’s Alzheimer Training Course
• HS diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work for extended period while standing and being involved in physical activity
• Ability to do extensive bending, lifting, and standing on a regular basis
• Have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick and elderly
• Ability to carry out directions, read and write
• Maturity and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
