Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Orthopedic X-Ray Technologist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, specifically focused on the musculoskeletal system.
Responsibilities- Operate X-ray equipment to capture images of bones, joints, and related structures for the diagnosis and treatment of orthopedic conditions.
- Position patients correctly to ensure clear and accurate images are obtained.
- Collaborate with orthopedic physicians and other healthcare professionals to understand the specific imaging needs for each patient.
- Maintain detailed records of all imaging procedures and patient information.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
- Perform quality control checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Assist in the development and implementation of new imaging protocols and techniques.
- Continuously update your knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- ARRT certification and current Florida State License
- Minimum of 1years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the principles of radiation safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
