Phlebotomy – Phlebotomist I

Pride Health is hiring a “Phlebotomy – Phlebotomist I” to support our client’s medical facility-based Venice FL 34285
. This is a 4-5-month assignment (possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Location: Venice FL 34285

Pay rate: $17.75 - $19.75/hr

Duration: 4-5 months with possible extension

Shift: FVE – Venice PSC. FVE is not open on Saturday. The employees will work at F6B – Venice Walmart.

The Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist I serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients for routine health visits and critical health decisions. This role involves:

• Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
• Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
• Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
• Working at doctor’s offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.

• 1 year of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred).
• Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (Preferred).
• Keyboarding/data entry experience (Preferred).
