Assistant Clinical Manager

Assistant Clinical Manager has 24/7 operational responsibility when the Clinical Manager is not available. Responsibility includes accountability and direct oversight over the daily activities of the designated specialty area or department. In addition, accountability for the quality of patient care, the performance of nursing staff, assisting with budget management, and the orientation and development of new staff. In this role, the leader also assists with setting the tone and modeling positive leadership behavior, while ensuring successful completion of individual and teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities in support of departmental and organizational goals.

• Require a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Require a minimum of two (2) years of experience working with patients in the designated specialty area.
• BLS:
  Basic Life Support/CPR.
• FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License.

• Cardiac experience.
• Program management, teaching, consulting, and outcome management experience.
• Certification in nursing specialty area.
• Demonstrated ability in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
• Interpersonal skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations in a diplomatic manner.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, exercise independent judgment, and provide decision‑making expertise.
• Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills at all levels.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of group processes, teamwork, and cost center–based management.
